Programs and Services
Each program is designed to interact with the other, while developing student English skills, leadership skills, and fostering a knowledge and outlook suitable for active participation in the modern global community.
Short-Term Study Abroad Programs
These programs are customized for elementary to post-secondary students. They are targeted towards developing English communication skills, a global mindset, leadership skills, and a vision for the future. Our programs are taken place in collaboration with schools and local communities.
Long-Term Study Abroad Programs
Working closely with JFIE, a non-profit organization, ISA offers high school students a variety of study abroad programs, including a 10-month high school exchange program. ISA also develops and offers programs that specialize in academic purposes.
Guidance and Counseling to Attend Overseas University and College
ISA launched a consulting business that provides guidance and counseling for Japanese high school students interested in attending university and college in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. These services include organizing workshops for students and parents to help them in their application process.
Intensive English Programs in Japan
ISA plans and organizes various domestic intensive English programs with experienced non-Japanese English teachers. The programs are held both in school and outside of school targeted towards elementary, junior high and high school Japanese students. These programs place emphasis on improving English communication skills, fostering self-confidence and enhancing student interest in global society.
In 2016, ISA implemented about 300 programs to more than 20,000 young Japanese students.
Empowerment Programs in Japan
A key feature in the content is to challenge Japanese high school students to be independent thinkers who are better equipped to excel on an individual level. In this program, Japanese students and non-Japanese university students from top-level overseas universities collaboratively participate in group discussions and projects on various topics. The program encourages students to value personal responsibility for choices made as the key to happiness and contribution to local and global societies.
In 2016, ISA implemented about 60 programs with participation from about 3,400 Japanese high school and junior high school students.
